Tags: QUINCY – Now with an expanded proposal, developers will break ground in the coming months on what likely will be a Marriott hotel in North Quincy.
“They plan on starting within the next couple of months,” said attorney Robert Harnais, who represents the developers.
Real-estate development firm Cathartes was permitted last year to build a 140-room hotel at 1-15 Arlington St.
As the developers began to go through their planning process, though, they found that there was even more demand then they thought, Harnais said. “The markets indicated it’s time to expand,” Harnais said on Friday.
