Earlier this month, real estate research site Zumper came out with a national rental report that showed that the Boston area was now the fifth most expensive in the nation for renting a 1-BR apartment.It had fallen from its longtime third-place position behind San Francisco and New York. Oakland and San Jose had overtaken it.Now Zumper is out with a drill-down into the Boston region itself.
