Seaport’s Pier 4 Condo-Office Development Moving Forward1 commentProject’s public space to include ‘sea steps’By Tom Acitelli @tomacitelli Apr 4, 2016, 10:00a tweet share pin RecLocal institution Anthony’s Pier 4 Restaurant is in its final structural throes in the Seaport, with New York-based developer Tishman Speyer demolishing what was once the nation’s highest-grossing restaurant to make way for the firm’s development there.Recall that it is due to have two parts: a 13-story office building with 353,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail; and a nine-story, 100-unit condo building with 171,000 square feet of residential space and 17,000 further square feet of retail. Both parts will be built on a two-level, subterranean garage.And! The development will have public spaces, including a one-acre public park at the pier’s top and a continuation of the Harbor Walk around the project’s perimeter.
